My shop rate is $100 an hour.
Whether this is your first visit or you are a returning client, new inquiries must be initiated using the form below.
There is a non-refundable bench fee equal to one half hour of my shop rate. This covers my time to inspect the instrument and will be applied toward the cost of repair if you leave it with me.
Ballpark rates are posted for common jobs so folks can have an idea of what these things cost before meeting with me but I cannot give an estimate without having the instrument in front of me on my bench.
I will only deal with the owner of the instrument. This includes initiating conversation, dropping it off, payment and pickup.
A confirmed appointment time is required. I cannot accommodate open-ended arrival windows. Please show up on time.
I cannot accept any instrument that arrives without a case.
Upon acceptance I will give an estimated due date. I work hard to meet these deadlines but know they are not guaranteed and I will contact you the owner for an extension if necessary.
I do not respond to text messages about instruments. If your instrument is in with me, you have my email and phone number — email is preferred, or you’re welcome to give me a call.
For jobs under $300, full payment is due at pickup. All jobs quoted at $300 and above require 1/2 down payment at acceptance.
I accept cash or card via Square as well as PayPal, Venmo and Zelle.
