A little bit about me…
I was born on November 21st, 1980 in Minneapolis, MN. Working on stringed musical instruments has been my main gig since 2008. I am a graduate of both the guitar and violin luthier programs at MCST in Red Wing, MN where I also worked as a T.A. in the stringed instrument department. I’ve worked in shops both as an employee, as a subcontractor and as an independent repair person in Minnesota, western North Carolina, as well as brief experiences in Portland, OR and the southern California desert which led me to my current location of the last 7 years in the Sonoran desert city of Tucson, Arizona.
Being an avid tinkerer I don’t like my tools living far from me. For that reason my shop has for the most part been situated adjacent to my home since 2011. This setup allows me to offer a direct and personal experience for those seeking a dedicated craftsperson to labor on their beloved stringed & fretted musical instruments.
